Market Tote

Man is it hot out- "Arizona"- and it's only going to get hotter.

My Market Tote is sewn....I know, it looks pink and black in the pic (#1) it is really a pink and choc brown. I love the way the brown straps accent against the pink. It has a pocket inside and is really sturdy. Who says a market tote can't be pretty! I have a pattern I made for it on my url if anyone wants to make one, or you can order a tote from me.

I have a little antique "Singer 221" and it is true what they say about them-50+ yrs old- they are little workhorses. Mine is black, has the little insignia circle on it saying 221, very easy to carry around, only weighs about 12lbs. Most people who are lucky enough to find one of these, use them for quilting. I have been sewing my Totes with it, works like a dream. Sometimes I do have to get creative about going around curves and in and under, but it will do just fine until Sat when I get my brother out of repair.

Pearl and Ruby and Dugal and Florie (cats all four) and Olivia (Queensland) are bored since I have been doing the business, but I do remember to feed and water them (responsibility), and I give them pats when I take breaks. Unfortunately, sometimes they want to help (all except Olivia), so there is a bit of shooing every now and then. back to work for a while
